Review: T Sportline Tesla Model 3/Y Center Screen Rotating Swivel Kit

Today I am going to briefly review the T Sportline Tesla Model 3/Y Center Screen Rotating Swivel Kit.

Full Disclaimer: I purchased this with my own money cause I wanted it for my Model 3. And I’ve got to say I love it, though there are a couple of things I would like to see added. However, I don’t know if it’s even possible, so because of that, I give it a 9 out of 10.

It only took me 20 minutes to install the center screen rotating swivel kit in my Tesla Model 3, and 10 minutes of that was trying to get the feisty cable removed from the back of the screen. It just felt like the board was about to snap, as I could see it flexing a little. But once I finally got the cable removed, the rest of the removal and the reassembly with the new hardware was quick and easy.

I love now that I can have the screen turned all the way towards me when it’s just me in the car and driving. Or if I have a passenger, it can go back to the center or tilt it towards them.

Now for what I would love to see, if it would even be possible for a future model or update of the center screen rotating swivel kit: some sort of override and a tilt sensor. Something that might enable it to detect when the screen is fully turned to the passenger and then allow the video streaming services to work for the passenger when the car is in motion. But then, if the screen is centered or tilted towards the driver, then it goes back to disabling those services while the car is not in park.

Bottom line, if you have a Tesla this is a “Must Have.”
