The Theory Of Everything

There are not enough words to express the respect and admiration I have for Dr. Stephen Hawking. I have read A Brief History of Time at least twice, as well as The Universe In a Nutshell, The Theory of Everything, and The Grand Design.

His theories, and his life are awe-inspiring. What I find almost as remarkable as his brilliant mind is the fact that he is able to convey very advanced and esoteric concepts in plain English so that those of us with mere mortal brains can grasp at least a basic understanding.

It would be a challenge to capture the essence of Dr. Stephen Hawking, and to attempt to portray that essence in a motion picture, but the trailer for the movie Theory of Everything makes it appear as if they have done just that.

An Oscar contender since its debut at the Toronto Film Festival last month, The Theory of Everything is built around one of the most demanding physical roles imaginable, with star Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables) taking on the part of renowned astrophysicist Dr. Stephen Hawking.

What did you think? Do you plan to go see this movie? Personally, I can’t wait!
