I’m a fan of both Marvel and Netflix so I’m excited for the upcoming series Jessica Jones. I have to admit I’m not enough of a Marvel fanatic to be familiar with the comic series origin, but Netflix does a great job with its original series content, and it’s hard to go wrong with a Marvel heroine.
This trailer is awesome. Netflix appears to do a superb job of framing the humanity and weakness of the hero–something that seems to play a significant role in the Marvel universe–and the result is a series that looks as dark as it does compelling. I’m counting the days to the second season of Daredevil from Netflix, and I think Jessica Jones will more than suffice to fill the void.
